Sixth Trip – The Great Plains

The Great Plains (sometimes simply “the Plains”) is a broad expanse of flat land (a plain), much of it covered in prairie, steppe, and grassland, located in the United States and Canada. It lies west of the Mississippi River tall grass prairie in the United States and east of the Rocky Mountains in the U.S. and Canada.

The Center of the Great Plains, where you can see wild tall grass growing.

The narrow farmland roads of Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota are a speed run across middle North America.

The Plains are a great place for agriculture, since the climate is dry, the terrain is flat and the weather is not aggressive.
